Truck in Badlands (small)

We left Nashville in our F250 with rooftop tent on the cab and pulling a U-Haul trailer.  We needed the trailer because our truck topper had not yet arrived.

Tye River CabinWhile waiting for out topper to arrive in Seattle, we got a red loaner from the dealer.  This worked nicely for awhile and it was nice to be rid of the trailer.  I don’t think it looks too bad.

Here’s our truck with topper and rooftop tent up for camping.  The tent sleeps two comfortably; one adult and two kids works well, too.  At this point, we’re still setting up a tent on the ground for two of us.

Troy and truck

Troy building a sleeping platform with storage underneath.  This will allow us to all sleep without setting up a tent: 2 in the rooftop tent and 2 in the truckbed.
